inexplicable editing

How can a normal user forward a deleted data object to another data object? Can anyone explain to me?

Presentation of the facts: The data object Q109616453 was deleted by BRPever on November 21, 2021 (see Wikidata:Requests for deletions/Archive/2021/11/21) and then on November 26, 2021 this deleted data object was forwarded to the data object Q109675135 (see [1]). --Gymnicus (talk) 20:58, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tried it, yes it can. However, it does not undelete the revision history of the deleted item. It simply creates a redirect where no item was present before. It does not work if no item existed earlier, so Q100000000 or any future QIDs cannot be merged for instance.
Question is whether we want this, or not. Can anyone come up with potential abuse scenarios? —MisterSynergy (talk) 13:43, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@MisterSynergy: As it currently looks to me, it is not possible that the forwarding can then be used again as a data object. That would be a good thing because it rules out a certain type of abuse. Which of course could be a problem if someone has fun equipping data objects with redirects from deleted data objects that have nothing to do with the actual data object. review the keeping decisions

Fralambert decided to keep both of my deletion requests for the data objects Q108299619 and Q108299625. After this decision I asked him why he decided to keep. In making the decision, he followed Silanoc's argument that articles from a relevant newspaper are relevant. I cannot follow this assessment myself, because we have relevance criteria here in Wikidata. The two articles mentioned above do not meet any of the three points, so how can they be relevant? I think the argument made here by @Silanoc was that they potentially met criterion 3 (structural need) because they could be used "for sourcing other wikidata elements". They don't seem to have any such uses currently. They don't seem to meet criterion 2 (identifiers and references) because we have no references about the concepts. For several months, an eager but non-notable musician has tried to achieve Wiki-immortality and, failing to get articles accepted on several different wikis, tries instead to hijack the articles about a journalist of the same name. The en-Wiki instance is described in en:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Anshuman Tiwari Official, but it spreads over several wikis and has caused multiple global locks as well as local protections to be imposed. They are continuing to batch edit, so I have given them a six hour block to allow them the opportunity to read and respond to feedback. @Bovlb: Since the six-hour period has passed and the edits have resumed without responses, I've reblocked for five years, which you may of course undo at any time once a guarantee of timely responses from that user has been made (perhaps with the same sort of stringent conditions attached as those you've offered to a particular reference-removing individual). Given the length of their silence and the concerns accrued from others over time (and that the previous block in may was for maximum 168 hours rather than the six that have fully elapsed in this instance), I do not think the length of this current block is particularly unreasonable. It was not done "mistakenly". As I was already explaining to someone before, there are duplicate entries on Wikidata on disambiguation pages concerning surnames. In effect, the disambig pages on various wikis and interlinked together but the enwiki disambig page stands alone, as it is included in another, duplicate, Wikidata entry. This user supposedly translates items about bird taxonomy into Hebrew. However, his translations are either wrong, not very human-readible, or both.

He ignores all messages on his talk page, and is using a new user, after a previous one (User:HaimWolf was closely monitored.

If possible, I would also recommend undoing as many of his edits as possible, since they are 99% vandalism.

The discussion was moved to Talk:Q720022, but no user wrote there except me. Therefore the item has to be restored to this version. The user also called me "Troll" in the HeWP, and it was illegal. Its deletions are personally oriented, as בורה בורה and LaNavP may testify. The user also threatened both of them, although they did nothing wrong. The user lost twice to both of them by dispute votes, which it opened twice. The user is personally and emotionally oriented, and its edits have to be restored. Largest malls in India Fake or inflated figures put in by a user known as Rajeshpalode007

Lulu mall Trivandrum and Lucknow total area is 2 million according to the official website. Its GLA is much lesser. Its almost 0.66 million. https://designinternational.com/node. This is from the official designer's website. A user known as Rajeshpalode007 is knowingly showing total area as GLA and that too an inflated figure. The wiki page largest malls in India page shown GLA for most of the malls and the user is putting total area of the entire project including hotel and convention center. 2 million total area will never make any mall Indias largest. For example sharath city capital Hyderabad got 2.7 million total area https://sarathcitycapitalmall.com/about-us/. There are lots of malls in India which got much bigger than 2 million in total area. Lulu malls official website clearly shows that 2 million or 185800 sq meter and the official designer of the mall is a Canadian company known as design international They show the mall got GLA of 0.66 million. https://designinternational.com/node. You cannot put lulu thiruvananthapuram malls GLA as 2 million sq feet as as GLA is only 0.66 million sq ft. 2 million is total buildup area not GLA. Its really a small mall with 0.66 million GLA and total 1 million for the mall only. If hotel and convention center and parking is taken in account then most of the mall in this wiki list will go in excess of 2 million. Only thing is that GLA is not given in lulus website. For most of the malls GLA is given in their websites and is given in wiki. Total area of too many of those malls are much bigger than 2 million. Thats shows wrong information and is completely against wiki rules. Most of the malls GLA area is shown here. But only for Lulu Thirvanathapuram the user Rajeshpalode007 is showing total area instead of GLA. This is showing wrong and inflated figures knowingly and cannot be allowed. This user is doing disruptive editing in wiki and putting wrong and inflated figures. In reality, this mall got only 0.66 million GLA or total retail space and 1 million total areas for mall.

Please block user:213.137.65.244 in Wikidata for canvassing the discussion from Wikidata to the HeWP. There is a discussion at the talk page of the item. Forking the discussion into the HeWP is not allowed. Furthermore, User:213.137.65.244 is a sock of the blocked troll משה הלוי, as it wrote here. User:213.137.65.244 also impersonated to user ארנון בורוכוב, who was also blocked.
user:213.137.65.245 (the same person) also did wrong edits in the item, because it did not read the Viaf collection which user:Geagea found, nor looked at the book which Professor Mintz wrote, but canvassed the issue into the HeWP, although it belonged to Wikidata. By its writing, it is clear that it is a troll. In any case it is a sock of blocked משה הלוי, and also complained against writing an article in another WP, because it is personally and emotionally oriented. Tagging בורה בורה. Thank you Anonymouser. I will respond briefly right in order to explain the story to the local admins.
Dorian Gray Wild is permanently blocked in the Hebrew Wikipedia due to user harassment and troll behavior. And I called him by his name - a troll.
בורה בורה is a user who was permanently blocked on the Hebrew Wikipedia under the name w:he:user:חגי אדלר and came back with thet nickame בורה בורה, the community gave him (de facto) a second chance (which in my personal opinion has not so much proven itself).
By the way, he intentionally does not tag users to continue trolling.

In its reply, the user did not tag בורה בורה nor me.
User:213.137.65.244 is a troll, because it is a sock of the blocked troll משה הלוי. User:213.137.65.244 claimed in the HeWP that I wrote about it, after I had written about a website of משה הלוי. Therefore User:213.137.65.244 and משה הלוי are the same person.
I have already notified User:חיים 7 when I undid its deletion, and addressed User:חיים 7 to the both discussions. It replied here, but intentionally did not participate the talk page of the item.
בורה בורה also wrote to the user: "I guess the decision in the Hebrew article does not impress you. But you will obey", but it reverted בורה בורה again, blaming him of being a "troll", and repeated it here today. בורה בורה is not a troll. He is a template editor in the HeWP and his contributions are great. User:חיים 7 is not allowed to disobey a community decision in the HeWP concerning בורה בורה.
I am not a troll, neither. User:חיים 7 made an RFC in the HeWP and I did not reply it. Some HeWP users assumed that User:חיים 7 was partially right, because they did not know the facts clearly. They did not have clear evidences that User:213.137.65.244 was the blocked troll משה הלוי, because 213.137.65.211 (the same person) wrote it just a week ago. A HeWP administrator, who became a HeWP bureaucrat, wrote clearly in the HeWP RFC that there was a person who followed and harassed me endlessly. Afterwards, User:חיים 7 made two dispute votes in the HeWP concerning the item. Three users voted with User:חיים 7, but 13 users voted against it. More than it, User:התו השמיני, who was an administrator in the HeWP and voted with User:חיים 7, wrote that it voted with בורה בורה.
User:Geagea wrote more than once that the aliases have to be written in the item, and also addressed to this request. User:חיים 7 agreed with Geagea, but did not revert its own deletion.
