Translations of the Mishnah

If the wikidata item is for the translation of the mishnah, the original from he.ws should not be included.

If it is for the Mishnah itself, the name should be changed appropriately (and then, I doubt if the translation should be included).

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study will start in late January 2022 or early February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.

Actually, GND got it wrong: School of Mathematical Sciences, Tel Aviv University (Q55649158) is a school, which is part of the faculty which is Raymond and Beverly Sackler Faculty of Exact Sciences Sciences (Q111307161), and GND therefore has two identifiers for the same thing: 5008821-Xand 2070798-8. Shalom, Nadav. I see in the WD item for Daniel Silva's novel, Portrait of a Spy, you revised the Hebrew title, correcting my previous edit from masculine to feminine. At the moment I don't have a copy of the book nor access to an online library catalogue in Hebrew, so just want to ensure in good faith that your correction is valid. Just to mention a sign of the times: no sooner did we have the above exchange here on Wikidata, shortly thereafter I opened the Facebook feed on my smartphone (not the device on which I edit WP) and was spammed by "Yediot Books" with an ad for the Hebrew edition of the aforementioned book with the identical cover illustration.
