Comparison Wikidata/BLKÖ[edit]

End of automatically generated list.

Above a small chart from Import BLKÖ from wikisource.

The chart is by decade of date of death (P570). It's based on all people born in present-day Austria (if place of birth (P19) has data) and compares what percentage of these have an article in that work. --- Jura 10:25, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notified participants of WikiProject Women

FYI: Today I matched and linked all 202 biographies in the transdifferenz (Q98690549) database (and created a bunch of new items). This is my second little project after completing the import of Frauen in Bewegung 1848–1938 ID (P8544). I’m still interested in improving the coverage of lesser known female writers and journalists from Austria and Middle Europe. Any thoughts on that? One idea would be to cover the Lexikon deutscher Frauen der Feder by Sophie Pataky (Q10854245) (see wikisource:Sophie Pataky), another one to cover all persons in biografiA: Lexikon österreichischer Frauen (Q98281014) (the latter one with copyright restrictions in mind). --Emu (talk) 22:21, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

--Emu (talk) 21:31, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Adding items from the UNESCO national inventory[edit]

I am about to upload all the items in the Austrian Commission for UNESCO's list of intangible heritage at https://www.unesco.at/kultur/immaterielles-kulturerbe/oesterreichisches-verzeichnis to Wikidata. Although I think I have done a good job reconciling the items and linking between the German and English data, I am sure there will be mistakes and misinterpretations. I have documented the import on the Imports page of the Wikidata:WikiProject_Intangible_Cultural_Heritage. I will also attach a link to a query or a list which can be used for quality control after I have done the import. I will wait for comments and do the upload tomorrow. – Susanna Ånäs (Susannaanas) (talk) 09:25, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

--Emu (talk) 16:52, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

One issue is how to handle items like Mary Ward Schule St. Pölten (Q19971297) which have multiple Austrian school ID (P10181) identifiers. If having such combined items for a grouping of schools is preferred, is it ok to create new items for identifiers which aren't yet associated to any item? People can still merge them later if wanted. Nemo 11:09, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mary Ward Schule St. Pölten (Q19971297) is a conflation that needs to be fixed at some point: It combines four different schools and at least one building so we would need at least five items. --Emu (talk) 14:50, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

--Publicbetamax (talk) 16:55, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
