All these were accidental duplicates created during tests. ACalpha (Q18973804) is a duplicate of ACalpha (Q18973821) and so on. In all cases, I have removed the GeneDB ID (P3382) to avoid conflicts in querying for that property. I would support the deletion if it weren't for the Wikipedia entry. And without investigating the claim of "spam", I can very quickly see - all 8 items linking to the page were created by the two users, and their only contributions have been to J-Pimp items. IMDb does not delete pages, but his IMDB page has been blanked, which means he had false credits at one point. And other sources like VIAF and ISNI have not picked him up. Lazypub (talk)

It's been recreated at htwiki by the same user (or a sock of it, I can't remember). Obviously none of these articles (including the album ones) have any place on WMF wikis but the htwiki articles have yet to be dealt with. Unfortunately the users have taken to outright removing the speedy deletion tag without explanation so I've been waiting for GS or local sysop action. Alias Guacho (Q52152046): Ecuadorian member of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC): (delete | history | links | entity usage | logs)

The truth, I am at the crossroads of renaming the article. Disappear this name, delete this element. Rename it to Alias Guacho. Because there are not enough elements to verify that the name is this, only certain press strips. They also speculate like us. In Ecuador we have certain government offices, where you can consult data of a public nature (Webs: https://servicios.registrocivil.gob.ec/cdd/ OR https://declaraciones.sri.gob.ec/sri-en-linea/#/SriDeclaracionesWeb/ConsultaImpuestoRenta/Consultas/consultaImpuestoRenta). As it is: birth, income tax returns, and a person's identity card. In none, this element appears. And that we have the full name data, and its date of birth, provided by the press. So, the application itself, tries to erase the current name or change it, and in the section (also known as) leave the name Walter Patricio Artizala Vernaza. Following the principle of: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Convenciones_de_t%C3%ADtulos#Usar_los_nombres_m%C3%A1s_conocidos --Berposen (talk) 16:01, 9 December 2018 (UTC)

Not deleted; if the name is not appropriate, you can change labels and aliases and also remove names which are completely wrong. There is no need to delete the item to "disappear this name". concentrated solar power (Q56761669): technology which uses mirrors or lenses to concentrate a large area of solar energy onto a small area: (delete | history | links | entity usage | logs)

Deleting item: (Q56761669) formerly called concentrated solar power, by merging it back to: thermal solar power station (Q285927) . Same topic. Same meaning of titles. Item is currently empty of links and content as I moved them back to thermal solar power station (Q285927) . --Alcea setosa (talk) 02:12, 5 December 2018 (UTC)

To me a " thermal solar power station" (a building complex, subclass of thermal power station (Q200297)) and "concentrated solar power" (a type of technology, subclass of solar thermal energy (Q303288))"... are not the same thing, but if this folk insists... It is empty of links because Alcea setosa removed them. strakhov (talk) 06:05, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
1 "It is empty of links because Alcea setosa removed" Yes as stated by me above I removed them. 2 "but if this folk insists" I am not insisting, but the item is now empty of content and by only adding the technology subclass it may still contain to little information to be very useful. Is there a (de facto) policy to not mix buildings and technology?--Alcea setosa (talk) 07:44, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
By the way, if they were the "same everything", Q56761669 should be merged, not deleted. strakhov (talk) 06:15, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
OK, and you oppose both deletion and merge but favour merge over deletion?--Alcea setosa (talk) 07:54, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
I favour keeping both of them, because they are different things, and even lumping the sitelinks together in one of them... the extra item would still have structural value. And I do not understand what's the point of blanking an entire item (labels included) before requesting its deletion. strakhov (talk) 11:02, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
For all intents and purposes they are the same thing. You can't have this type of technology without a building or structure, this is true of a lot of things such as item concentrated photovoltaics (Q2065094). On the other hand there are many instances were a distinction is made such as combined heat and power plant (Q1601458) / cogeneration (Q221620). For structural value the items should at least link to each other, as far as I can see concentrated solar power (Q56761669) has never linked to thermal solar power station (Q285927) so I did not see much structural value in it. The label concentrated solar power is in conflict with the Also known as section of thermal solar power station (Q285927) as CSP is listed as an alternativ name there. CSP is an abbreviation of concentrated solar power.--Alcea setosa (talk) 23:06, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
I do not know your purposes or intents, neither do I care. Facts are
1) a technology and a type of plant are not the same thing. Same way nuclear power (Q12739) not equal to nuclear power plant (Q134447).
2) Q56761669 was linked (even after your "intervention" removing valid sitelinks and lumping them together) in thermal solar power station (Q285927), throught "facet of (P1269)".
3) There are different articles in es.wikipedia ([1] vs [2]) for the "concentrated thermal plant" and for the "concentrated thermal technology" ( and I did not create them).
4) the en.wikipedia sitelink Concentrated solar power (and several others: it, gl,...) is not aligned with its wikipedia label ("thermal solar power station) nor with its subclass of (P279) values.
So please, stop wasting people's time merging things that should not be merged. strakhov (talk) 11:59, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
You do give the impression of not caring by not bother to try to understanding my answer, but anyway since we are talking about it here I am not sure I follow your line of thought given you started a sentence by "To me".--Alcea setosa (talk) 22:42, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
3) Yes thank you for your very recent contribution [3] hope you did not find it a terrible waste of time this time to find that somewhat obscure article in Spanish Wikipedia. When you created this item concentrated solar power (Q2065094) in September 2018 and, removed the sitelinks to enwiki, eswiki, iowiki and itwiki from thermal solar power station (Q285927) you did not add any new sitelinks. So you effectively split an item and for what reason that is my point, not to link from an article in eswiki anyway as you did not.. --Alcea setosa (talk) 00:24, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
4) It is a minor issue if the title of some sitelinks do not correspond perfectly to the label, what matters more is the subject of the articles. The original label was ("concentrated solar power) added back in 2013 and unceremoniously changed to ("concentrated solar power station) in 2015. Most sitelink titles where still not referring to power plants specifically, still no one split the item. Statements ("Solar thermal power plants" and "thermal power station") where added in 2013 and 2014. Also what the gl.wikipedia article title "Central térmica solar" refer to appear to be a power plant as in "Central térmica".--Alcea setosa (talk) 03:35, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
2) My concern here is that concentrated solar power (Q2065094) is not linked to thermal solar power station (Q285927), not the other way around. That is if you are searching for "Concentrated solar power" and find concentrated solar power (Q2065094) all that is there are links to Spanish Wikipedia (and at most some but not all other language Wikipedias with articles on this topic) and no links to thermal solar power station (Q285927) and the other language Wikipedias with articles on this topic. --Alcea setosa (talk) 04:58, 7 December 2018 (UTC)

The point of separating different concepts is... precisely that. Anyway, since it happens to be different articles for each item in the same Wikipedia... your merging/deleting crusade (TBH I do not get much your line of thought either) is doomed, whether it concerns you an item being linked from that one or vice versa... Or not. strakhov (talk) 23:26, 7 December 2018 (UTC)

Blank data(the article has been deleted in 2010). Moreover this term is used in Japan in insulting some TV personalities, I think this data should not keep & be added to the data of persons. --Ohtani tanya (talk) 04:46, 1 December 2018 (UTC)

it may not have an WP article, but it is only blank because you just deleted all of the data it had. I have no opinion as to if we should keep it or not, but the very fact that you said Moreover this term is used in Japan in insulting some TV personalities, means it exists. It may be an insult, but it exists, so we should consider keeping it somewhere. Maybe as a Lexeme or in Wiktionary.Lazypub (talk)
I've restored the data you removed. If the item gets deleted, the data will be removed with the item. But there is no reason to try to sway the result by blanking the item in advance.Lazypub (talk)
Or, you could revert my edit and we can start an edit war. LOL. Lazypub (talk)
@Lazypub: Thanks for your opinion, but I had to revert your edit because it may conflict with WP:BLP. I won't like to start edit war, so I ask you NOT to repeat the same edit. --Ohtani tanya (talk) 12:36, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
May conflict is different than does conflict. And I only want the information there because pages should not be blanked when there is an open discussion. So I will ask that you revert yourself. Lazypub (talk)
On no account should such derogatory statements be restored; doubly so as they are unsourced. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 12:53, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
Is it derogatory? Or is it only perceived as derogatory by the nominator? If I called someone a Scream Queen or a Reality Show contestant, some would be insulted. Some people get insulted by the term Hair Metal or Bro-Country. No different than the nominator's phrase, used in Japan in insulting some TV personalities. The emphasis being the word some. How is it an insult to some but not others. I know many 1980s hair metal bands that hate the term Hair Metal and deny being part of it. Does that mean it didn't exist or that they were not part of it?. Lazypub (talk)

✓ Deleted; barely any content, no sitelink, no backlinks, no identifiers, no references. I do not question that the term exists, but if there is no improvement for weeks, we cannot keep it in this shape. If anyone is interested in this item, please ask for undeletion; I’d expect that the mentioned issues are addressed quickly after a possible undeletion. —MisterSynergy (talk) 20:28, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

Not notable ARR8 (talk) 20:41, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

I filled in some data, but I think he still fails notability. Lazypub (talk)
Interesting that you were able to find information. I hadn't heard of him, and assumed from the self-promotion that it was another nobody. So, I'll leave it up to you. If you say he fails notability, then I believe you. ARR8 (talk) 23:22, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Not everyone has Beyonce-level name recognition. It doesn't mean they don't exist. But, simply existing doesn't mean someone is notable. Lazypub (talk) 23:34, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Of course, but given that the user was making their own Wikidata entry... ARR8 (talk) 03:27, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

This can probably just be deleted. ARR8 (talk) 05:11, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

✓ Done, I deleted. I do not see how this person is notable against our criteria at the moment.--Ymblanter (talk) 21:27, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
