@ValterVB: Wikipedia articles sometimes discuss concepts within the article text. A sitelink cannot be created because the whole article is not about the concept, just a small section of it. An item is notable even if it doesn't contain any references so long as suitable references are available – the solution then is to add the references not delete the item. @ChristianKl: That hacky workaround doesn't work so well in this case. The problem is that English Wikipedia has one article (en:Boeing_P-12) for a whole series of 13 aircraft models, of which item item Q18520207 is one of those models–the series and the model have the same name since this was the original model of the series. There is no section about the model, there is a paragraph under en:Boeing_P-12#Variants. Now, maybe someone could add anchors to the article and then use your blank page-redirect hack. But this seems a lot of make-busy work just to keep overzealous deletionism at bay. SJK (talk) 13:47, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

And for many (if not all) of them, we can add semi-automatically other properties. I'll try to do that in the next days. We have 57382 family names items not used right now, by the way, and 8991 "clean" unused family names (clean meaning with only one P31 and with only one native label (P1705) since we use family names as strings). Most of them could be used, because we have people with these names on Wikidata.   • Keep all. Family names and given names should all be kept. In most cases we will have one or more items for persons having that family name or given name. Probably because the person who asked for it to be created planned to import the data but hadn't got around to it yet. A similar story exists with pregnancy category (P3489) – I proposed it to be created, but it has taken me ages to get around to populating it, because I wasn't 100% sure how to do it and I've been busy with other things. (Now today I have written a script to populate it, so within a couple of hours I should have it populated on several thousand items...) But I assume it is the same story here. If someone plans to do it, we shouldn't delete things just because they haven't got around to doing that yet – far more constructive is to offer to help do it! SJK (talk) 12:23, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
