Motivation[edit]
A new generic property could be necessary to store the number of done medical tests in any epidemic disease in a clear and structured way, at least to express COVID-19 test (Q86901049) during the current pandemia. --Mfchris84 (talk) 13:02, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

- Support Do you know if there is a way to enforce that this statements should only be added with a reference qualifier? TiagoLubiana (talk) 16:52, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

- Support what if they data is of a time frame from 6pm to 6pm of the next day. Germartin1 (talk) 20:26, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- Unfortunately Wikidata can't deal with a more granular datetime value than day. For the Austrian covid-19 data it's the same here. Data is published every day at 3 p.m. I enter this "offical" value with point in time (P585) for the specific day, the 24 hour rhythm is given so in Wikidata, the exact time of publishing the data is lost. - Done Please make good use of it. See also number of recoveries (P8010). Feel free to list for deletion if this is exceptionally premature is seen as problematic.
- Support Some countries report the "number of tested persons" (e.g. DK, SE, NO) while others report the "number of tests" (e.g. FI, IS). Is it possible to add some kind of qualifier differentiating these to cases? (PS: I am new to Wikidata) --Jsekamane (talk) 12:45, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
