Wielki/małe znaki[edit]

Witam administratorze. O ile wiem, to etykiety, aliasy i opisy rozpoczynamy tu małą literą (chyba że to nazwy własne), czyli nie tak [2]? Pozdrawiam, Chrumps (talk) 23:00, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No i niestety tak to wygląda, że boty importują nie patrzą na wielkość liter, bo skąd miałyby wiedzieć, że powinny raz zmienić, a raz nie. A wytyczne odnoszą się do do etykiet, opisów i aliasów → Help:Label#Capitalization. Znalazłem również bota, który poprawia etykiety na małe litery → Wikidata:Creating_a_bot#More_examples, wydaje się więc, że pewnie kiedyś zostanie to zrobione. Normdaten[edit]

Hallo Alan, danke, dass du so fleißig Normdaten einträgst. Leider kann man sie nicht einfach aus VIAF übernehmen. Ich habe gesehen, dass der KrBot deine Einträge teilweise rückgängig macht.

Deprecated Language codes[edit]

Hi. You have been adding labels and descriptions in languages which do not exist on wikidata, e.g. [3]. Language code bat-smg is called correct smg, be-x-old should be be-tarask etc. For more information, please see User:Akkakk/languagecodes. --Pasleim (talk) 22:22, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merge-project requiring language skills[edit]

Dear Wikidatan,

Even though Wikidata phase 1 (replacing interlanguage by Wikidata) is officially finished, there are still a lot a duplicate items that should be merged. Projects to list possible duplicates (and therefore possible mergers) have been started by users such as Pasleim with User:Pasleim/projectmerge and Ivan A. Krestinin with User:Ivan A. Krestinin/To merge. Those bot-generated lists do however contain quite some false positives and therefore still need a human eye to decide whether to merge or not.

Since you are an administrator on Wikidata with knowledge of the Polish language, User:Ivan A. Krestinin/To merge/plwiki might benefit from your help. As said, it lists couples of WD items that might possibly be merged. If you are already involved in these projects or not interested, I am sincerely sorry for bothering you.

Work vs. single edition[edit]

Hi Alan ffm, it looks like you have merged a work Q15748230 with one of its editions Q15748742. (An other edition Legendoj (Q12351452) still exists.) For the difference between work ("book") and edition see Wikidata:WikiProject Books. (Deutsch: Es gibt einen Unterschied zwischen dem Werk Hamlet und den einzelnen Ausgaben, z.B. Hamlet. Hi. Just noticing you were adding some Wikinews categoryes to the Category:Gaza Strip item. Just noting, that's the wrong item. All those Wikinews categories (not just the ones you added) should be on the item for Gaza Strip (um, Q39760), not the one for Category:Gaza Strip. Sąd Konstytucyjny (Kongo)[edit]

Wojna handlowa[edit]

Cześć. W elemencie "wojna handlowa" usunąłeś alternatywne nazwy dla tego zjawiska. Jednak w rekordzie BN widnieją ("Wojna ekonomiczna" i "Wojna celna") jako synonimy (wartości: 150 i 450). Rozumiem, że celna, ekonomiczna i handlowa wojna to nie synonimy 1:1, ale są to w większej części tożsame pojęcia. W przypadku parametru "Inne nazwy" nie upieram się przy "puryzmie" w zakresie nazewnictwa, więc z mojej strony podążyłbym wytyczoną przez BN drogą. Wojna handlowa sprowadzała się w historii chyba najczęściej do wojny celnej. A międzynarodowa wojna ekonomiczna do handlowej. Wojna ekonomiczna sprowadza się do obostrzeń w zakresie handlu. Choćby nowymi technologiami. Handlowa wojna może ominąć kwestie celne, gdy władze danego państwa nie zezwalają w ogóle na przepływ między dwiema stronami danych dóbr, wytworów przemysłu rodzimego. Więc tu by się gryzło, ale tylko bezpośrednio, bo pośrednio służby celna nadal wchodzi w grę, bo nie tylko samymi opłatami się zajmuje taki organ, ale też obrotem towarowym. W każdym razie osobiście nie byłbym tak sztywny dla zamykania się tylko w obrębie jednoznacznych synonimów. Dlatego, że często taka alternatywna nazwa przy eksploracji elementów w WD jest pomocna (przy uzupełnianiu innych podrzędnych elementów w WD).
