GND 116518030 (DE-611) bezieht sich auf diesen Briefwechsel, den man einsehen müsste. GND 1053433425 dagegen ist eindeutig, da sich der Normdatensatz auf die Dissertation bezieht, die in der von dir genannten Biographie erwähnt wird. Ich habe die Lebensdaten ergänzt, damit die DNB die Dubletten ohne eigene Recherche zusammenführen kann, und einen Eintrag für das Nachschlagewerk angelegt, siehe Q137659619.

Thanks. One little error in his biography (IdRef 292828306): Naturaliste, docteur de l'université de Tübingen (pas Stuttgart). His thesis was published in Stuttgart. "1830 trat er in das Stift in Tübingen ein. Zwei Jahre später verließ er dieses und studierte Medizin." He didn't leave Tübingen. Zwar finde ich keinen expliziten Beleg, aber bspw. die charakteristische Form der Laut-Notation, im Vergleich mit dem Bernhard Hoffmann (Q126950563) zugeordneten Melodie auf dem Ast ["mit Vogelstimmbildern v. Endlich zum Durchsehen der Lebensbilder sächsischer Ornithologen (2010, "LSO") gekommen (Neumann, Joachim: "Hoffmann, Bernhard" pp. 91-92). Von den oben genannten Nummern lassen sich demnach sicher Nr. 1, 6, 6a, 7, 8 & 11 Bernhard Hoffmann (Q126950563): German pedagogue and zoologist (1860-1948) zuordnen. Für die Nummern 3, 5, 9 & 10, sowie Ornithologisches von einer Reise nach der Schweiz ist die Zuordnung nach Thema und Vita praktisch gesichert (in LSO nicht Explizit genannt). Zu den zwei Nummern 2 und 4 finde ich weder Beleg noch Hinweis ob zugehörig, d.h. ich würde sie derzeit nicht Bernhard Hoffmann (Q126950563) zuordnen. Könntest du mal einen Blick auf die GND:114558795X (DE-576) zu Manfred Ade (Q138163954): German zoologist (1961-) werfen. Im Feld 672 ist dort auch die "Flora von Oberndorf am Neckar" (1989) verzeichnet, die aber von Manfred Ade (Q138164137): German tools maker and amateur botanist (1938-2021) stammt (vgl. dazu den Eintrag in Q137659619: no description). Danke für den Hinweis. Zu "Schaichtal: Lebensraum Bachaue" konnte ich keinen eindeutigen Beleg finden, gehe aber davon aus, dass es auch eher dem Botaniker zuzuordnen ist. Dafür spricht die geographische Nähe zu seinem bekannten Arbeitsgebiet. Alfred Mayer

Hallo Kolja, die DNB hat https://d-nb.info/570891299 an Alfred Mayer (Q118136819): no description zugeordnet, aber laut RERO der Author sollt in 1910 geboren sein. Ich konnte das Buch nicht sehen, aber eine Dissertation im Jahr 1936 erscheint mir wahrscheinlicher für jemanden, der 1910 geboren wurde, als 1888. --Thomas Kerboul (BGE) (talk) 07:34, 24 February 2026 (UTC)

Ich kann bestätigen, dass der Titel falsch verknüpft ist, habe aber keine Beleg für das Geburtsjahr 1910 gefunden. Jetzt eingetragen als Alfred Mayer (Q138458156) mit GND 1391200802. Es ist ein auffälliges Muster: Wenn bereits mehrere Hochschulschriften mit einer schwach individualisierten GND verklinkt sind, werden auch alle weiteren Titel, bei denen der Autor nicht bekannt ist, mit dieser GND verknüpf. Sie dient de facto als Tn. Das Problem mit GND 124157009 (Alfred Mayer, geb. 1888) ist bereits bekannt, siehe de:Wikipedia:GND/Fehlermeldung/Mai 2023; damals waren mit der GND noch 20 Publikationen verknüpft. --Kolja21 (talk) 20:14, 24 February 2026 (UTC)

• 1905-1971: Charles Brütsch (Q136969629): Swiss theologian (1905-1971)
• 1907-1954: Charles Brütsch (Q137114744): Swiss journalist and poet (1907-1954)

Two more hits:

• fl. 1941: Charles Brütsch-Gurini, Zürich 4, Stüdliweg 4 (GND 126239703); could be the parson
• 1907-1990: unknown author; possibly incorrect year of death

Yes, these are the GNDs the Göttingen State and University Library is famous for. I would ignore them for now. If they apply to one person, I can individualize them, but they’re often ambiguous. GND 1157573118 e.g., is used for different authors:

The field "Persönlicher Name" was intentionally selected by the Austrian National Library (instead of "Nachname", "Vornamen"). Therefore, it is not considered an error, despite the fact that most librarians would handle it differently. Слава Україні! --Kolja21 (talk) 11:19, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
