| Planned use | The whole dataset can be downloaded via the NZTCS website. The dataset is licensed CC BY 4.0 in line with the Government of New Zealand and the Department of Conservation's policy. The data comes from documents published in the New Zealand Threat Classification Series New Zealand Threat Classification Series (Q57558928) which are published under a CC BY 4.0 license. The identifier will be added to Wikidata via adding the dataset to OpenRefine and reconciling it against Wikidata then importing the identifier values. |

This is the identifier given on the NZTCS website for species evaluated under the New Zealand Threat Classification System. These classifications, undertaken by the New Zealand Department of Conservation, are published in the New Zealand Threat Classification Reports (See New Zealand Threat Classification Series (Q57558928))The classification id ensures that changes in conservation status can be tracked.
