The first hour of the evening is reserved to Wikimedia Deutschland scholars (people who got their accommodation and travel booked by the organization team). You will have to opportunity to have dinner together, start discussing with others and get in the mood for the conference. |

You're already in Berlin on Thursday? Come and start meeting the other WikidataCon participants! We will meet in WMDE's office for a relaxed and informal meetup.
Joining the welcome meetup you will also be able to get your badge, avoiding the queue on Friday morning. Snacks will be served onsite, as well as non-alcoholic drinks and beer. In order to help us organizing this event, please sign up here if you plan to attend! |
Friday 25th evening[edit]
On Friday evening, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a nice chill and networking evening in the conference venue. This will include:
- Birthday celebration (with cake)
- Birthday present demo session
- WikidataCon Award 2019 ceremony
- Chill music by Mr Galonga and light installation
Saturday 26th morning[edit]
Because we are aware that two days of conference, attending to sessions and plenty of social interactions can be pretty intense, we would like to offer the participants opportunities to relax, clean their minds and reconnect to their inner selves. That's why we are offering two sessions on Saturday morning, before the conference starts:

The moves will be easy and accessible to everyone, focused on breathing, relaxing and being conscious of your inner self. No preparation needed, you should just come at 8:40 wearing comfy clothes. The rest will be provided in the room. |
| 8:45-9:45 | Guided meditation session | Conference venue, room Pasteur on 3rd floor |  This session is an introduction to meditation technics, well-known for relaxing the body, reducing the stress and balancing the emotions. We will experience together simple and efficient exercises to start the day with consciousness and good energy. A calm and relaxing session, designed for beginners and also profitable for more experienced people. The session will be inclusive, respecting everyone's individuality and space, so you can enjoy a great moment and dive back into the conference. No preparation needed, you should just come at 8:40 wearing comfy clothes. The rest will be provided in the room. |
No registration is needed. For both sessions, we can accept a maximum of 20 participants. Please be in front of the room a few minutes before the session starts (8:40).
Saturday evening[edit]
After the closing session, we want to give you the opportunity to keep chatting with your new contacts and close all the interesting discussions that you may have started. That's why we are offering you to spend the evening together.
Dinner will be served at the venue from 18:30 to 20:00. After that, we will go and have a drink at a very nice location: Die Alte Pumpe, a charming place keeping the memory of the industrial era in Berlin, with a bit of a steampunk atmosphere. This meetup is only open to WikidataCon participants (we will check the badge at the entrance). We will offer you vouchers for alcoholic drinks and free unlimited non-alcoholic drinks.
