Reason: user follows the same pattern of edits, adds false and improbable cause of death, burial place and place of death, is a sock account that has been globally blocked for abuse of account use. If we take this case seriously, we also add these IPs or IP ranges which clearly show long-term abusive editing patterns:

I am pretty sure that there are some more ranges which I am not yet aware of. Furthermore, I suspect that the User:Nicewels sock zoo is also related (see es:Categoría:Wikipedia:Títeres bloqueados de Nicewels and Category:Suspected Wikidata sockpuppets of Nicewels), although this does not matter here that much (all accounts stale). CU should decide whether we add strict range blocks that apply to logged-in users as well. Otherwise they come back again and again, as they are a long-term vandal. Anyways, I don't think we need to continuously add new accounts to this CU case, as we can simply block new accounts for behavioral reasons. —MisterSynergy (talk) 18:09, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is there anything that can be done about this user? Some concerted cross-wiki effort? Are there IP ranges that could be globally locked? Could some people responsible for these global Wikimedia affairs be notified? Could you please have a look at my English Wikipedia report, too? This user has been doing great damage at the Spanish Wikipedia, too, and I think it's obvious that this method of reporting new socks every couple of days (and waiting before the request is noticed and processed, while the sock is freely making tens of hoax edits across Wikimedia projects) is painfully inefficient. Reason: The user above shows the same behavior as several other socks in this row: they regularly vandalize articles related to children who got murdered (a specific focus on Q106847345 and Q7334176 are clear). The account reported above fits into this pattern. I would accordingly like to ask the checkusers to investigate whether or not this account could be confirmed to the socks listed above.
