Motivation

I would like to add Europeana record id to Europeana photos in Commons updated so that basic info would be machinereadable. One reason for this is that it is much easier to detect if file is already in Commons. Another reason is that direct id would make SPARQL queries much easier/faster. --Zache (talk) 05:43, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

  Answer

  1. My mistake, i didn't noticed fi-label attribute in the beginning when i filled the template. Now it is fixed.
  2. files and items. As Europeana is aggregator it also contains records on topics which have own wikidata items and which would have 1:1 matching to external identifiers which are already used in Wikidata. (added example 4 for this)

•  Oppose recreation of P727 (P727). Turned out to be a very unstable identifier breaking all the time, see Wikidata:Properties_for_deletion/Archive/2019#Property:P727. Multichill (talk) 19:14, 5 December 2023 (UTC)

  Ok, i can withdraw my proposal per P727 was already tried and failed. I still think that the identifier would be useful as it would make linking the wikidata/sdc to Europeana repositories easier. However, I agree that the unstability should be addressed in the proposal and I do not have anything for that currently.
