Knife grinders and grindstones[edit]

Hi, you merged the knife grinder links (Q4990607) to the grindstone page Q4990615, but these are two different things: people vs. tools. Related discussion: Wikidata:Interwiki conflicts#Q4990607/Q4990615. Properties[edit]

Just a heads up, spotted some of your edits and began doing mine in a similar fashion... in particular the "is a(n)" field. But according to Wikidata:List of properties, it should be avoided when more accurate fields can be used -- in particular, I saw you use it as a substitute for "entity type" and "occupation". Proposal for revision of WD:D[edit]

I did the change based on commons sense. After scanning around 1500 items, I saw that the format described on WD:D wasn't the one commonly used by items. Therefore, I performed the change. Wait a minute. I confused the link. You put WD:D and I thought you were talking about Help:Descriptions. Now I see that you're talking about my addition of a note at Wikidata:Notability. Again, common sense. It is just a note to state that although some items can be considered as notable by default, they can be deleted after a discussion is held at WD:RFD. Nothing new, I think. No, I'm not. I can perfectly perform administrative duties everywhere on Wikidata. As far as I know, when I received the bit, I was supposed to know about how does Wikidata work, not to be knowledgeable on all topics on Earth. Well, I am perfectly able to figure out the location. Although, I don't have to add it, and no desire to do it. The burden is on you. My part of the work was handling the deletion of an item, period. He didn't "break it"; he was carrying out his administrative duties (namely unlinking an item he was about to delete). As a fundamental principle of wikis, users are never required to do more than they volunteer for. By your logic any Wikipedia administrator would be required to clean up any redlinks created as a result of an AfD close. If you want to look into Hahc21's edits "in detail", unlike En.WP we have a very convenient place for that, but I think you'll be surprised to find how little support you'll get. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 06:41, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, I find it ironic that you're once again using the condescending tone that I pointed out in your RfA ("please ensure that...", "please avoid..."), while at the same time complaining about Hahc's "misleading" deletion summary.   • Docu, please stop taunting Hahc21 (or any other administrator) like this. Administrators are expected and trusted to carry out actions even in places where they don't understand the content. Hi Hahc21, I`ve seen that you have created Wikidata:List of properties#Software. Did you see Wikidata:List of properties#Products and services incl. software products? Currently software properties are listed under term properties although it does not make sense. Hola Hahc, tengo una pregunta para vos. No estoy seguro de como se está manejando el tema de las páginas de desambiguación, si las debo enlazar por significado o por nombre letra a letra. A ver si me explico un poco mejor. En español tenemos las páginas de desambiguación Bastardo y Bastard (desambiguación). Yo los he enlazado letra a letra, o sea Q11174061 que incluye aquellos idiomas que tienen una entrada para Bastardo y Q246392 para Bastard. Antes de mi cambio, estaban enlazados según la semanticidad más común. Bueno, no sé si lo estoy haciendo bien, o si estoy errado. ¿Vos que opinás? In regards to the RfC you had closed for Redirects...[edit]

As the administrator who closed the RfC at Wikidata:Requests for comment/A need for a resolution regarding article moves and redirects#new Proposal zero, you had stated that you were going to file a bug on Bugzilla. Hey! I didn't file a bug, because I talked with the devs and they told me that I better email them, and I did. They have kept me updated but they have other priorities that come first, and therefore we'd have to wait a bit before redirects are available. Muchas gracias por invitarme a integrarme a IRC, y en particular a interactuar contigo.

Nunca he usado IRC pero bueno, inicialmente me pareció genial abrir una nueva vía de comunicación con los wikipedistas, y en particular contigo.

Y estuve leyendo como tres horas, tratando de entender esto, y tratando de hacerme una cuenta allí, aunque tal vez con mi nombre de usuario actual baste.

Sin embargo, no logré avanzar en esto. Algunas páginas de ayuda no están traducidas al español, y mi nivel de inglés es muy bajo. Traté de ver si cambiaba al francés, que lo domino perfectamente, pero me pareció tiene el mismo problema, no todas las páginas de ayuda están traducidas al francés.

No creo poder ponerme a tono con esto en un tiempo razonable. Lo siento.

(Not that I disagree with Rschen's block.) I felt that the block and revocation of talk page access was perfectly reasonable given that 1, I warned the user before Rschen's block, 2, the user was previously blocked, and 3, the user has a cross-wiki record of not communicating with other users and posting nonsense unblock requests.--Jasper Deng (talk) 17:26, 25 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
