Please try to add a description, even if it is only a couple of words (e.g. "Albanian author") or better, words and a date ("Albanian author, fl. 2010"). If you can add it in English also, that will help others to make translations.

It looks like we should have an external ID property for bksh.al - would you like help drafting a proposal?

Hi @Pigsonthewing, I will try to add more info about them, even though sometimes is hard to find a match in cases when books are a translation with translated author names. Good idea to have an external property ID, I will try and draft it.

The whole issue could be solved with a property BKSH ID Nationalbibliothek Albaniens (Q678964). Maybe Pigsonthewing (Diskussion • Beiträge • Logbücher) with the Wikidata:Property proposal.

all your new entries on family names have neither a source nor are they linked to a record. Please do so immediately, otherwise I will submit a deletion request for all family names without a source.

Working on them, I will use those items soon. Even if you request to delete them I will create again as part of imports National Library of Albania. Please Log in next time before leaving a mesage in my talk page.

If the records do not have a source reference and are not linked to any record, they are quickly deleted via a deletion request. Please be sure to cite your sources in each record.

Hi! Thanks for this import (https://editgroups.toolforge.org/b/QSv2T/1669997422341/) of 2k items of authors. However, as of now some of these items - the ones without occupation (P106) - don't meet the notability criteria. I have been able to fix some (e.g. Q115562066) adding VIAF ID (P214) and the IDs it contains, but in other cases (e.g. Q115562067) I'm unable to find IDs or something to make the items notable. Could you please review the items you created without P106 and add a few statements to them in order to make them notable? Thanks!

Please also check potential duplicates, I have found a few of them (e.g. Q115562039, Q115562109).

The problem of notability is especially evident for items with shortened name, surname and no other information, which cannot be considered clearly identifiable (e.g. Q115554559, Q115554554); without some reference to published works, these will surely be deleted.

Hi @Epìdosis, I'm working with notability issue and duplicates, in coming days will add more data to those items and references, also there are books that will be connected at these items. Thank you.

Hi @Vojtěch Dostál, I do all queries manually and generate labels/descriptions and then send them to QuickStatements, and don't know a better way to automate them with a bot.

Looks like there is a duplicate mistake :/ . I'll merge them.

Happens to me too every once in a while usually when the query service is acting up. Thanks for merging them.

Note that in English, the diaeresis and accent are the same even though in English they do not exist (example). It should be fixed before it goes any further.

Hi there, I didn't add English label, but only Albanain label (sq) which a normalized version of orginal name.

Hi, if i'm not wrong, albanian language even have diaeresis (like Durrës). Note also you added correctly the spanish accent here. So I don't see any reason to do the same with the Catalan names.

Hi, yeah, we have ë and ç. I updated with the original Catalan name, even though that's not correct, but until an Albanian linguist takes over to correct them all, better to have the original one.

You don't have to, if it's incorrect, you know fare more than me. But, I imagine you can understand my surprise why the original Catalan name is not correct, but other original names of very similar languages like Spanish or French is correct to Albanian.
