It's always fun to see more Scandinavians here. By my estimate there is one per country now doing glorified janitorial tasks. The multicultural aspect of Wikidata is something I enjoy, one trap you definitely don't want to step in is assuming people speak English, so a always check the IPs to see if it is an English speaking country if you are considering communications or dishing out sanctions. I actually didn't know about this page until now; I think most of the listed items deleted by me were from bulk deletion requests where I apparently forgot to properly check the links. Hallå där So9q! Trevligt att stöta på en till svensk. Som svar på din fråga; Egentligen har jag inte något särskilt område, utan jag håller främst på sådant som intresserar mig för tillfället. Däremot är det för det mesta klottersanering och Wikidatas motsvarighet till SFFR (WD:RfD) som jag håller till inom, och ibland kan man även se mig på Wikidatas allmänna sida för att begära administratörshjälp (WD:AN). iCareBilling Notability[edit]

Hello @EPIC

I would like to add iCareBilling to the Wikidata. I added the Item Q124251470 I was about to add the references, but you deleted the item with remarks "Does not meet the notability policy: content was: "iCareBilling". I believe iCareBilling will pass through your Notability Test if you allow me to share the URLs with you as the company is Featured on Forbes, mentioned in various Industry Research and also Featured on Multiple News Sites, with Editorial Featured. Kindly let me know if I can mention the URLs here, or if you can do a research to add the item for iCareBilling. Your kind consideration would be highly appreciated.

The reason for deletion was mainly because I didn't think it seem notable. I did a quick Google search before deletion and found the Forbes link too, but otherwise not much which indicated notability; few reviews on review sites, not much media coverage, previously deleted on Wikipedia etc. I don't have anything against having the item on Wikidata if there are more things that indicate its notability, however. A philosophy of blocking[edit]

Hiya. Thanks for blocking 71.86.150.12 . I've noticed blocking practices are all over the place on Wikidata, so I've tried to stay somewhere in the middle.

For first-time offenders if they haven't made a particular big mess I just tend to undo and ignore. There is a 50-50 chance that if you don't react with a block they will simply go away, and if they don't, well now you have a good excuse to block them for an even longer period. Personally I'd probably ignore anyone I'd not feel comfortable giving a one week block for starters. Infrastruktur (talk) 12:24, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Infrastruktur. I'm usually quite restrictive with blocking as well, and in most cases I wait with blocking after giving a warning. My exceptions are cases of repeated vandalism, pure disruption, libel etc., and in this case the IP had created the same unserious page twice, and made two disruptive edits earlier today as well, which is why I blocked one day to begin with. Hi, just noticed that these two items have been deleted. I've just done a quick Google search and I believe that they both pass WDN2: "It refers to an instance of a clearly identifiable conceptual or material entity that can be described using serious and publicly available references." Norchaya Talib (Q124348281) is also the author or co-author of a number of journal articles on Wikidata so passes WDN3 Piecesofuk (talk) 13:08, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect merge[edit]
