Motivation
[edit]We currently have category for the interior of the item (P7561) and category for the exterior of the item (P8596), this would accompany them for categories of views from the item. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 16:45, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

- @Mike Peel, Tinker Bell, ChristianKl: please make good use of the property. Help complete it. --- Jura 22:17, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Would need to ensure that there are some tight restrictions on its use. I can see that its use could be misunderstood the interior and exterior view are somewhat instruction where "view from the item" could be misunderstood. Is "item" the best word compared with being specific and saying "view from object"? — billinghurst sDrewth 23:25, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- @billinghurst: If anything it should be "view from subject" and not view from object given our general semantics. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 23:52, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- I mind not, I was just picking one of the words. My point is clarity, not the word. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:56, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- @billinghurst, ChristianKl: I wasn't sure if 'item' was the best word to use, but couldn't think of anything better. Happy for you to change it if you want - either 'subject' or 'object' sounds OK to me! Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 08:44, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- I think it's the same relationship as category for the interior of the item (P7561) and category for the exterior of the item (P8596), so I was fine with item. Ideally, I think all three would use subject. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Help:Statements says: A statement (Resource Description Framework (Q54872) graph format: Subject-Predicate-Object)...
