Resolving overlap with the CSD Refcode[edit]

See https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata_talk:WikiProject_Chemistry#CCDC_Number_and_CSD_Refcode --Egon Willighagen (talk) 09:14, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback from CCSD on the details of the CCDC Number:
  • update the description to "Unique numerical identifier for crystal structures submitted to the CCDC"
  • update the regex to ^\d{6,7}
  • the examples are for CSD Refcode, so we need correct examples
  • formatter URL should be: https://identifiers.org/ccdc:$1

Notified participants of WikiProject Chemistry, with permission, I will make these updates. --Egon Willighagen (talk) 11:23, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
 Support — Can only support. @Egon Willighagen Thank you for your continuous effort in curating chemistry data! AdrianoRutz (talk) 11:32, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Correct examples: ammonium oxalate (Q419626)1213725 (was MOYHAJ), 2-iodobenzoic acid (Q2535469)179601 (was OIBZAC01), and ferric acetylacetonate (Q7843940)161834 (was FEACAC03). --Egon Willighagen (talk) 11:28, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
