• I'm skeptic. Timetables is something that frequently changes, at a frequency of about twice a year at least. As a result I'd expect URLs to be susceptible to link-rot. Infrastruktur (talk) 05:05, 18 July 2023 (UTC)

•  Comment If the datatype should be URL, then the label should be "timetable/schedule URL". How to deal with timetables/schedules that need datatype Commons media? Something like this ferry timetable? The timetable can be also linked as Item datatype (for references, we also consider that the source may have its own item on Wikidata) – I mean items like train timetable (Q104145271), but they can be also more specific for a certain specific line and period. Too bad it's not possible for one property to support three different datatypes. This would apply to many other properties as well. --ŠJů (talk) 13:12, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

  Yes, it would have been nice in the case where schedule is only given inside a picture, not a PDF timetable. The most common format would be a pdf/html page, I think.   It is necessary to have both words (timetable/schedule) in the label? Should't be "schedule" an alias? public transport timetable (Q221725) has "timetable" as its label and "schedule" as the alias. railway timetable (Q687656) uses only the word "timetable" (and not "schedule"). However, train schedule (Q998374) uses the word "schedule" and its labels are not fully clear and consistent. --ŠJů (talk) 21:19, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

•  Comment: From the examples provided, the purpose of this property is unclear. Please clarify, as example No. 8 does not make much sense to me.   Hi @Kirilloparma, the n°8 example was in response to a remark of @ŠJů : sometimes, there are small or disused transport routes that do not provide (or no longer provide) website nor any PDF timetable. In that case, I suggest we exclude example No. 8 for the time being. We need to find another way to model such cases, although I have already given a hint that you can use Wikimedia import URL (P4656) or reference image (P10253) as a reference, the only thing left is to find a property for the main value. I mean, something like this:

  Haven't added a url match as their is nothing unique about these (as opposed to any other url) so would cause false-positives so instead have just put in a Spanish translation Back ache (talk) 08:42, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
