- Support, needed for our project with protected nature territories. --Papuass (talk) 11:30, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Question: Could this not use the exeternal ID datatype, with a value, for the example, of daugava_pie_kaibalas? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:30, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Unfortunately agency doesn't use flat URLs. They have for example:
- IMHO URL type will be better. --Voll (talk) 19:45, 15 April 2017 (UTC)

Done @Voll, GreenZeb, Papuass, Edgars2007: Now Latvian Protected Nature Territory URL (P4001) -- Lymantria (talk) 07:24, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- Comment @Voll, GreenZeb, Papuass, Edgars2007, Lymantria: This should have been an external identifier honestly. I mean, all the URLs start with a pretty long unchanging string, which is
https://daba.gov.lv/public/lat/iadt/
. Can we still change this? Thierry Caro (talk) 11:24, 30 May 2017 (UTC)- @Thierry Caro: I do not agree, as some of the examples Voll gave above are pages, some subpages. I don't think that qualifies for being a ixternal-id. Lymantria (talk) 11:27, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- I would still have gone for the identifier datatype. But if everyone else is fine with the current solution… Thierry Caro (talk) 13:03, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- Everyone else isn't, as I thought I made clear above. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:57, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
