- Discussion
- Oppose use the inverse, named after (P138). Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:33, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
- Comment Grammaticaly not the same. An eponym is a noun derivated from a persons name, creating an eponym is the person or thing after whom something is named. named after (P138) is for things named after a person. An long article on Wikipedia deals with eponys. Breg --Pmt (talk) 19:08, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose The property as currently stated confuses an item with it's name. When the Wikidictionary integration goes future, we can have properties about various Xnyms taht actually are linked to the words. ChristianKl (talk) 09:08, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Pmt, Pigsonthewing: Not done. We can revisit the topic when we create properties for the new lexeme dataype once it's deployed. ChristianKl (talk) 11:11, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
