- Motivation
"Base de datos del Patrimonio Inmueble de Andalucía" (BDI) is a database available for free consultation, managed by Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage (Q5917182), institution operated by Government of Andalusia (Q2743342). It hosts data of 24.000 cultural heritage items, located in Andalusia (Q5783). It includes identification, metadata, a generous description, images, bibliography and a cartographic application. Support this seems fine. However maybe a longer/more explanatory name for the ID would be helpful? BDI seems like it could be anything. ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:31, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
- @ArthurPSmith: Well, the more recognisable letters related to this database are IAPH, but this institution manages several databases: "Patrimonio Inmaterial de Andalucía" (with no short name) (example: Fiesta de Santa Águeda), "Patrimonio Inmueble de Andalucía" (the one concerning us, the so called "BDI"), "Cortijos, Haciendas y Lagares de Andalucía (CHL)" (example: Cortijo el Almendro) and... I guess something like "Base de datos del Patrimonio Inmueble de Andalucía ID", or maybe better "Patrimonio Inmueble de Andalucía ID", could fit. Changed. Thanks.
