Motivation
Many humans around the world are licensed as Amateur Radio Operators and are issued callsigns to transmit. Amateur radio clubs, associations, and special events may also be issued callsigns.
Callsigns are unique alphanumeric codes that start with an International Telecommunication Union (Q376150) prefix that defines the country of issue followed by letters assigned by the issuing agency. US (Q30) callsigns may be looked up at the FCC (Q128831) ULS system page at http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp . – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Renejm (talk • contribs) at 11:44, April 29, 2018 (UTC).
Discussion
- Support these callsigns are public data, though I'm not sure many of the operators are really notable. Anyway, good to add. ArthurPSmith (talk) 20:01, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
