I noticed this weird edit and looked into your other property edits. They all look incorrect. What are you trying to do?

Apologies if I ended up breaking things. I tried to broaden a couple of properties' scope, but have perhaps acted too hastily in some cases. Especially with regard to NTA ID (P1006), as I am in fact well aware that the final "A" refers to "authors". Must've not had my head on straight at the time though.

Please feel free to correct whatever you feel needs addressing. I'll make sure to remember for future reference.

OK, I see my mistake now. Is it possible to inform editors that P1695 is obsolete (it has a 'delete' status in VIAF records now), and P7293 should be used instead? Michal

I edited the English description of NLP ID (unique) (P1695) to include "For the newer 16-digit format, use "NLP ID (record)" (P7293)".

You changed my edit at Property:P4638 back because it 'breaks every link'. What you didn't get into is the fact that every link is just as broken now. Just go to a random page that has this property, and the link goes to the http://www.thepeerage.com/ main page instead of the specific person. - ~~~~

In this case, if this property's formatter url bypasses the external id redirector, links will invariably break as it encodes the hash. The redirector fixes this. It's a common occurence for a property to continue using outdated formatter urls on individual item pages after its modification. These will be purged automatically in due time, so don't worry about them.

To forcibly update property formatter urls on individual item pages, first, modify its string and undo this immediately afterward, i.e. add a whitespace character before pressing backspace. Then cancel the edit. The formatter URL should now be up to date.
