Perhaps this should be added to MediaWiki:Setlabeldescriptionaliases-summary or MediaWiki:Wikibase-setlabeldescriptionaliases-summary, so that users of all languages can see this. Matěj Suchánek (talk) 19:30, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Jarekt: In my opinion, creation separate local messages for localize these local summaries - is bad way (and also unclear for users). In other cases (e.g. in MediaWiki) the method proposed by me is used for these local project-related summaries. Kaganer, MediaWiki namespace is used for internationalization: you create the language subpages and the mediawiki software picks the version that matches your language. The main drawback is that everything has to be done by admins. {{Autotranslate}} template allows to recreate the same thing in the template namespace: you create the language subpages and the {{Autotranslate}} template picks the version that matches your language. The advantage is that some pages might be protected while others might not be. If you want Setlabeldescriptionaliases-summary message in the template namespace than clone it there, but it has to be in the template namespace. Another approach is to set it up in such a way that the messages are translated on translatewiki.net (Q9376349) and than cloned into MediaWiki namespace.
