- Motivation
Geomorphological units really should be a basic feature in ontologies covering relief of Earth (elevations or depressions). It is systematic, basic property for geomorphological individual regionalization in the Czech Republic. -xfi- (talk) 21:42, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
- Discussion
- @-xfi-: Please check your "allowed values"; one is for a person. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:36, 9 December 2017 (UTC)

- Could you link to the definition in the other ontologies to which you point in the introduction? ChristianKl (✉) 14:35, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
- I fixed it. It should be, because units are often mentioned for descriptions of places, regions etc. -xfi- (talk) 17:14, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- I would like a description that doesn't just repeat the term of geomorphological unit but that explains what it means. ChristianKl (✉) 20:58, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
- Comment should this be considered a subproperty of part of (P361), similar to located in the administrative territorial entity (P131)? ArthurPSmith (talk) 15:59, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, it is similar - geomorphological unit (in meaning of individual regionalization) are natural regions, each unit has individual name (proper name). It is quite similar to mountain range (P4552), but is used for various types of relief. -xfi- (talk) 17:14, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- Comment to ArthurPSmith's editing: Yes, it is probably possible use "geomorphological units" for regions outside of the Czech Republic. -xfi- (talk) 18:07, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
