Motivation[edit]

I propose a new property to be created for 1600+ articles at blf.fi (Biografiskt lexikon för Finland (Q10429758)), that will use urn.fi-IDs. The existing four digit ID Biografiskt Lexikon för Finland ID (P3595) used by 1637 Wikidata objects will become deprecated in the long run and the publishing party Society of Swedish Literature in Finland (Q769544) suggests to instead use the National Library of Finland's ID that redirects at urn.fi.

The new urn.fi id to be used by the proposed property is mentioned on every article at blf.fi. I also have a prepared list with IDs ready to fill in existing Wikidata objects with the new property.

The previous Biografiskt Lexikon för Finland ID (P3595) property is used in Wikipedia in at least two templates sv:Mall:BLF and no:Mal:Biografiskt_lexikon_för_Finland. The idea is to change these to support the new proposed property.
