subclass vs instance[edit]

You added "subclass of (P279): work (Q386724)" ot a bunch of articles, eg Development and certification of the IL-96-300 maintenance program (Q105354289).

Please remove them: these are instances of work, not subclasses. So you're messing up the "Work" class hierarchy. Cheers! --Vladimir Alexiev (talk) 09:03, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Q29877467[edit]

Hi! I see you blanked/trashed Federal Aviation Administration Type Certificate (Q29877467), apparently on the theory that it duplicated type certificate (Q1418690). I wanted to draw three things to your attention.

  • When we want to delete things, we don't blank them or give them descriptions like "TO BE DELETED". Instead we report them on Wikidata:Requests for deletion.
  • When we find duplicates, we don't delete them, but instead we merge them. This is important because external sites use Wikidata identifiers. See Help:Merge for more details.
  • These items are not duplicates as one refers to the US-specific certificate, and the other to the country-independent concept.
