Database has some flaws[edit]

http://corporate.olympics.com.au/daniel-carroll is a valid link, while http://corporate.olympics.com.au/athlete/daniel-carroll is not. The URL pattern should therefore include the part athlete/ optionally. —MisterSynergy (talk) 16:53, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like they have knocked off the numbers from the trailing end of the identifiers. So many should be converted and the Mix'n'Match set should be replaced. --99of9 (talk) 00:19, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The identifier used by the Olympics.com.au database has changed more than once. Here is an example for Rolly Tasker (Q4351873):
Removing the numeric portion of the former ID does not always generate the current ID:

Both links for Daniel Carroll (Q945481) from 2017 (see above) now redirect to the current URL. That is not true of all IDs:
