Notified participants of WikiProject Performing arts
The Cultural Venues Datathon will take place April 25 - May 2, 2022. This online editing event is organized by the Canadian Association for the Performing Arts, LaCogency and many partners, with support from Wikimedia Foundation Alliances Fund. The goal is to increase the number and quality of Wikidata items about cultural buildings, with a focus on performing arts buildings. Guided editing sessions will be facilitated in English (schedule and registration link) and in French (horaire et lien pour s'inscrire).
If you would like to help spread the news, we have a communication toolkit in English and in French.

QUESTION #1: How do I transfer information contained in a Wikidata entry into a Wikipedia entry?
- ANSWER: A Wikidata item and its equivalent Wikipedia article can be connected via the sitelinks at the bottom of the Wikidata item. You will find information about sitelinks in this help page: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Help:Sitelinks. It is possible to do some reuse of Wikidata data into Wikipedias. For example, certain language instances of Wikipedia allow the use of Wikidata-powered infoboxes. However, the English Wikipedia community is reluctant to use such infoboxes.
