- Motivation
SIPCA is a service managed by Gobierno de Aragon (Q578863) (the governing body of Aragon (Q4040)) and other Aragonese institutions. It contains a register of heritage items in the autonomous community (including several status/classes: Bien de Interés Cultural (Q23712), Bien Catalogado of the Aragonese Cultural Heritage (Q26934132) and other 'inventoried' monuments). Its entries offer valuable data on these items and serve as authority control. SIPCA covers many items in Aragón (including many Bien de Interés Cultural (Q23712) and every Bien Catalogado of the Aragonese Cultural Heritage (Q26934132)) not covered by Asset of cultural interest code (P808) (a property related to a database managed by the "spanish-statish" Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (Q3181296)).
