Motivation

To date, the only external identifier for lexemes in Italian is the Treccani dictionary (Treccani Vocabulary ID (P5844)).

The Nuovo De Mauro is an important, rich and constantly updated vocabulary.

For the past ten years or so, it has been fully accessible online on the internazionale.it website.
