Discussion

1. Support The endowment of organizations, foundations, and large nonprofit organizations is information which defines their existence. There seems to be no existing or similar Wikidata property which meets this purpose. We might identify a database to import or otherwise we can do this manually.   • Taking total asset as a model:
    • Rather than data type Number, use Quantity (which allows specification of quantity values in different currencies)
    • Add subject item of this property -> asset
    • Add instance of -> Wikidata property related to economics
  • Rather than the description "Donation to a non profit enterprise for ongoing support" (which suggests the amount associated with a single donation event) perhaps "Sum of donations for the ongoing support of a not-for-profit institution"? It's a bit long but might be closer to the intention.
  • Also "topic" of this proposal should probably be "Organization" rather than "generic" Dan scott (talk) 20:59, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
