Arch package
[edit]Originally proposed at Wikidata:Property proposal/Natural science
Description | name of the official Arch package |
---|---|
Data type | External identifier |
Allowed values | text |
Example | |
Source | ? |
Formatter URL | https://www.archlinux.org/packages/$1 |
- Motivation
For Motivation see the Property proposal for Debian Package Beware! For Arch Linux I could see a minor issue arising with the aforementioned formatter URL as it points to a search result page. For the specific package URL you need to know the correct repository and architecture. So using the example from the proposal above one could also link to https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/gimp/ instead of https://www.archlinux.org/packages/gimp for the gimp package in the extra repository for the x86_64 architecture. The formatter URL therefore should be https://www.archlinux.org/packages/$2/$3/$1
with
$1
representing the package name$2
representing the repository$3
representing the architecture

- The source of the data. The source saying that GIMP (Q8038) => "gimp" and Firefox (Q698) => "firefox". Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 21:52, 12 January 2017 (UTC
- Well, I guess you'd have to look it up on the proper search portals of the package repositories. --Ziegenberg (talk) 01:00, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
