Motivation[edit]
The BaFin database contains banks, investment companies, insurers and pension funds which hold a permission to operate in Germany. It's operated by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Q314211) of Germany and contains information about the type of permission, date of issuing of the permission, type of company and a link to the responsible arbitration board.
