[edit]Wikimedia CH is organizing with Agepoly, the Student's association of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (Q262760) a series of three sessions to encourage EPFL students to become more familiar with and contribute to Wikimedia projects.
A previous session was run about Wikipedia. Two 3-hour sessions will provide attendants with an introduction and hands-on training on Wikidata, and a presentation of what can be achieved using Wikibase.
We will mainly work with data about EPFL, its researchers, institutes and open science iniciative. If you're interested in other topics please bring them too!
- Where? EPFL Lausanne campus, Room CM 0 12 - Check EPFL interactive plan.
- When? First session will be on November 13th, second session on December 4th, both from 17h to 20h.
- Languages? English will be used for the presentations, we are also happy to discuss in French and/or Spanish.
- Audience? EPFL students curious about open science, open data or Wikimedia projects
- How to prepare in advance? Materials will be published in this same page, bring your laptop to the session!
