Duplicates[edit]

Hi, before you make any new items, check that they don't already exist here. You can use page Special:ItemByTitle. Regards. --Stryn (talk) 08:31, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sitelink removal[edit]

Hi Pauk. I noticed that you removed en and nl sitelinks from Tijuca National Park (Q1974494). This seems to be correct, as you then created Tijuca Forest (Q14942956) to separate the forest and the national park. However, you did not link those sitelinks there, leaving them unconnected. I did link them now, but in the future please try to not forget to do this yourself. Thanks and have a nice day. --YMS (talk) 08:16, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I've seen that, and great that you saw that first and split up the item. But you unlinked the English and Dutch articles about Tijuca Forest from the Tijuca National Park item, and did not link it to the Tijuca Forest item you created. So those two articles did not have any interwiki links any more, and no connection to the logical Wikidata item about Tijuca Forest. I only wanted to remind you that if you remove some sitelink anywhere, you usually should link it somewhere else afterwards (or, if the target item already exists, there's a "move" gadget in the preferences, so you don't have to unlink and link, but can just move a sitelink from item A to item B in one step). --YMS (talk) 10:59, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
