I'm not sure if we announce plans as news. Tomorrow the weather is expected to be sunny, but that's just a forecast.

@Jura1: But if you look for the word "planned" it has 9 matches of 114 messages (8%). So in the past there where some forecasts. Also I think that message is kind of motivating for Wikidata contributors. So I wonder where exactly this message is different to e.g. this one of July 2013:
