winner claims

Hey Gartxoak, I saw a lot of edits by you in the field of rowing clubs—thanks a lot! However, there is an issue with the winner (P1346) claims you added. The property is in fact meant to be used inversely to the way you use it. This means, that

⟨ event ⟩ winner (P1346) ⟨ sports club/team/athlete ⟩

is desired, but you assigned it as

⟨ sports club ⟩ winner (P1346) ⟨ event ⟩

If you want to add this information to sports clubs, you need to do it like that:

⟨ sports club ⟩ participant in (P1344) ⟨ instance of event ⟩
ranking (P1352) ⟨ 1 ⟩

In words: use participant in (P1344) with an instance of an event (i.e. specific edition item) and a qualifier ranking (P1352) with value 1. For rowing competition edition items, particularly trainera competitions as well, see this list. In case of questions feel free to ask me for help. Another simpler possibility would be

⟨ sports club/team ⟩ victory (P2522) ⟨ instance of event ⟩

Here, victory (P2522) is the direct inverse of winner (P1346) and has the advantage that you don’t need to have to fiddle about qualifiers. —MisterSynergy (talk) 07:18, 8 July 2017 (UTC)
