Mapping-Relation: broad match[edit]
Hello Dbalzer, if you add authority control IDs with mapping relation type (P4390): broad match (Q39894595) you create irritations since authority control serves the purpose of unique identification. These apparent duplicates will be merged or incorrectly linked in VIAF and other databases. --Kolja21 (talk) 22:08, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
- So "broad match" should not be provided. In general, authority control IDs are often wrong. I think, guidelines for the "mappings" are needed. Dbalzer (talk) 11:04, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
Identifiers for AAT and GND[edit]
The identifiers for AAT and GND are wrong: The Wikidata item refers to the process, while the AAT and GND descriptors refer to the object.
Difference to utensil[edit]
The difference between this item http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q1357761 and http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q1310214 is not clear-cut. In addition, "cutlery" may serve as an example, yet is not a synonym (also known as).--Dbalzer (talk) 13:04, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
