Hi Oravrattas! As on the fall of 2021, you added ambassador to a country (Q29645886) to several ambassadors for instance of (P31) (example). I think it was a correct edit series and a good structure. Now an anon has been deleting this value for weeks and changing the structure of the elements without initiating a discussion about it. I don't think that's right, but I'm interested in your opinion. Thanks.

Hi, I'm afraid I agree with them on this. I try to use the structure that is most common, because introducing variations on that makes it much harder to query, but I think the current ambassadorial structure is confusing, and awkwardly different from how we usually model position items.

I understand. What is your suggestion to indicate ambassador to a country (Q29645886) in this new structure? Or do we skip it?

I don't think it would exist on an individual position item like ambassador of Germany to Estonia (Q23905158), but it would still exist as a subclass on items such as ambassador to Estonia (Q29970877).
