Just wanted to thank you for the Fandom userscript; it's very handy. Have you created any other userscripts like that one?

Shisma (talkcontribs)

hi, am happy to hear from you. I don't have more userscripts like that, but meanwhile I generalized to concept into a Firefox Extension that enables you to do the same, more convenient and on pages other then Fandom. If you have questions or feedback, write me here or open an issue on the github page

Excellent, thanks!

Thanks for the addition. For Ballotpedia matches, can you tweak the search autofill so that " - Ballotpedia.com" is removed?

Shisma (talkcontribs)

I will think about it.

the mechanism that extracts the title should work better on mediawiki based websites in version 0.91

Trivialist (talkcontribs)

Great! The extension is very useful, btw; thanks for creating it.

Could you make your script compatible with the subreddit identifier (named as, start time, subscribers and point in time) and ESRB ID (importing platform and named as)?

Shisma (talkcontribs)

As of now, I do not add specific qualifiers for specific id properties. I don't want to hardcode such a logic into the extension since it should be decided by the community. So I suppose I should parse the qualifiers of property constraint (P2302)required qualifier constraint (Q21510856). Unfortunately the constraint does not specify what information should go into which qualifier and how to acquire it.

so in short: I'm sorry. I don't know I would do that.

Doesn't your script already add specific qualifiers for specific id properties? I'm referring to Wikia articles

Shisma (talkcontribs)

No. The discussion above was about what is proposed as a possible title for matching. You can try it: it wont add a specific qualifier. If the website / content management system the id refers to, is a mediawiki (which is often the case) than we can have a pretty good idea what the title of the article is. I just added an additional detector for page titles (specifically for mediawiki websites).
