Q74893423[edit]
I opened the item Q74893423 for Su (Turkish "female" name, generally) as I has my doubts to have a "Chinese" name and a Latin-alphabet name at the same place. Later I turned it to "unisex" because of one person in WD. I do not know any other males with this name, but it would not be strange to see Turkish men with the name Su -which means water- because it is quite fashionable nowadays in Turkey to make male and female names from everything natural in Turkish, like rain, cloud, wind, soil etc. However, the fact is that, the only male now using the above (Q74893423) "unisex" name in fact is an artist who was born as "Süleyman", and uses the name "Su", which we may easily regard as a pseudonym. Not withstanding that, suddenly we may also find some male with the given name Su; although at the moment all Turks that we have in WD and Commons that are called Su are women. Therefore maybe a merge is due. I leave it to other's contributions to make a sound decision. At this moment we have Turkish females using one or the other of these two given names, in WD, which is, of course, not very appropriate. --E4024 (talk) 13:02, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
