Including suicide by hanging?[edit]
@Andreasmperu: I changed English label "hanging" to "execution by hanging" and you reverted that. According to the current version, this item is an instance of "execution method" and subclass of "capital punishment". Do you plan to expand this item to include both execution and suicide by hanging? I changed English label "hanging" to "execution by hanging" because the label "hanging" had confused at least one editor, who edited Property:P509 (cause of death) on 23 September 2018 to make bot replace value "suicide by hanging" (Q7883956) with value "hanging" (Q175111) automatically. This has caused, I believe, lots of weird results because, although English Wikipedia article Hanging covers both execution and suicide by hanging, many other language Wikipedia articles included in this item only refer to execution by hanging. If this item is expanded to include both execution and suicide by hanging, we need to create another item for only execution by hanging, and move the relevant Wikipedia links here to that new item. If this item is not expanded, its English label needs to be changed to "execution by hanging" to avoid confusion.--Neo-Jay (talk) 09:21, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

I have moved those Wikipedia articles that only refer to execution by hanging from Q175111 to Q11608124, changed Q175111 from an instance of "execution method" to an instance of "cause of death", and re-added Template:Autofix to Property talk:P509 to make bot replace value "suicide by hanging" (Q7883956) with value "hanging" (Q175111) automatically. --Neo-Jay (talk) 17:58, 23 November 2019 (UTC)
