Who is meant?[edit]

@Humanisator: Who is meant with this "organisation"? GND 10312851-7 is weakly individualized but linked to the work of Afterlife (Q322217): UK chillout producer/writer/remixer. Furthermore this GND is imported from de:Afterlife (Musiker). If you find errors please leave a note at de:Benutzer:APPER/Bands. --Kolja21 (talk) 19:33, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Other "organisations" you created items for: Darude (Q116790552) and PMD (Q116790250). Using weakly individualized authority files for creating items is not helpful unless you look up who this band or musician is (Discogs etc.). Often there is also a conflation. @Wurgl: FYI. --Kolja21 (talk) 19:41, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I do not really like that DBC-Record to be assigned to anything. It's just a name and there are (currently) 37 "Afterlifes" in Discogs, however it could be a danish company producing whatever. --Wurgl (talk) 20:14, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How do you know that I didn't react to the ping? In fact I spent a lot of time in writing in answer, hindering me to do otherwise. While writing the answer, I found out that you had added the organizational GND to an item about a human, which caused error reports for several months. So, you exactly knew what 'this "organisation"' in GND context refers to. I then was hesitant to proceed with the answer, because it more and more looked like you want me to stop all my work in the area of P227/humans. Shortly before you made weird comments because I created a list of wanted items, but it seems you want to reserve that right to you and some others. Anyway, then my browser froze, had to kill it, and the answer was lost. I didn't find the time to write it again. Humanisator (talk) 20:49, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is not that your browser froze. Instead of solving one problem you started new discussions like Wikidata talk:Gruppo Wikidata per Musei, Archivi e Biblioteche/IRIS#Collaborazioni e corsi - GND keeping us busy. --Kolja21 (talk) 21:08, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  1. "The problem is not that your browser froze." - I didn't even claim it was a problem. Maybe you read my message again and do so carefully.
  2. "Instead of solving one problem you started new discussions like" - there is no problem here to solve, so yes, I continued solving problems elsewhere.
