It was created mainly due to your support. In any case, if it isn't used, at some point I will nominate it for deletion.

Personally, I'd move your page User:Phil wink/Quantitative scansion notes to Help:quantitative metrical pattern. If there are options between several possibilities to choose, you might want to opt for one. If, after some usage of the property develops, a need to revise them manifests .. no problem.
