Motivation[edit]
We probably still need something like the above, see previous discussion. No alternative is available. --- Jura 12:51, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
Discussion[edit]
- Comment @Circeus, Rua, Liamjamesperritt: as active contributors in the field, what's your opinion on this? --- Jura 03:27, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- Comment I'm not opposed to the idea. However, one could already capture this information, by using combines lexemes (P5238) on the contracted lexeme, and qualifying it with mode of derivation (P5886): contraction (Q126473). Liamjamesperritt (talk) 05:47, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- @Liamjamesperritt: yeah: dudit (L19364) I would have have to repeat it on each form. Not sure what's easier. --- Jura 04:26, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
- You're right. For dudit (L19364), you will have to repeat it for both "de" and "ledit". However, I don't think that's too much of a problem. But again, I'm not opposed to this proposed property. Liamjamesperritt (talk) 04:48, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
