Alexandru items[edit]

Hello, i reverted your merge of Alexandru (Q17501703) (given name) into Q4721085 (disambiguation).

  1. please see Special:WhatLinksHere/Q17501703: the given name item is used by other items = people items which make use of given name (P735).
  2. on Wikidata items are specific, like Wikipedias make a difference between disambiguation pages and articles, so please do not mix up disambiguation items and name items, see Wikidata:WikiProject Disambiguation pages/guidelines.

What i changed (following your enhancement – thank you! – of the dewiki page from a disambiguation to a name article), is that i moved the dewiki link without using the merge function, so now the rowiki link (which still is a disambiguation) is kept separate at the older item. Hope this helps understanding Wikidata. Holger1959 (talk) 03:25, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks for your help! It isn't easy always to understand the handling of wikidata. Greetings, Qaswa (talk) 14:34, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • Hi. Six years have passed and still the same mistake(s): Why did you merge a disam page (EN:WP) and a surname entry (TR and DE WPs) under Çam (Q19312191)? Merging is easy but it is difficult to remake entries. Please stop this attitude. Have a good year. --E4024 (talk) 22:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
      • Hi back. I only merged the tr:article (a family name like the German one), but the problem became the English article when I changed the German article from a disam page to a family name. So I actually did nothing wrong, but I didn't remove the English disam page. greetings, Qaswa (talk) 22:50, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
