Thanks for any help you can provide. I can paste them in to all the data items where they apply, but I need help because I do not know Farsi. --EncycloPetey (talk) 22:44, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@EncycloPetey: Done. There is no link for the first item though. --Mehran (talk) 05:23, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, they're not done. I was asking for the descriptions in Farsi to put on all the individual tragedies and comedies written by these playwrights. For example, I need to know what "tragedy by Aeschylus" would be in Farsi, so I can put that description on each tragedy by Aeschylus. --EncycloPetey (talk) 14:50, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@EncycloPetey:I mean Farsi translations were already added to pages that you left their link for me, you will see the Farsi description if you check the pages. Let me know if I have not understood what you wanted to be done. Mehran (talk) 00:12, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did not ask for descriptions on the pages with the links. I asked for translations of the text I gave. You have not provided the translations I asked for. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:54, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@EncycloPetey:ُ Oh right! Translations were added to the table. --Mehran (talk) 06:29, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It looks as though Aeschylus (Q40939) had the wrong Farsi label. It had آشیلوس (Achilles) but the linked page at fa.WP is آیسخولوس (Aeschylus). Are you sure about the translation of the last two? I've run translation checks (I always do) and instead of comedy (play) it's translating as "humor" which is NOT the intended meaning. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:37, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@EncycloPetey: Regarding Aeschylus (Q40939), both آشیلوس & آیسخولوس are common in Farsi for it. You can refer to Aeschylus (Q1529164) which has آشیلوس as the Farsi label. Of course this is an inconsistency in page titles and needs to be fixed.
Regarding Comedy, I double checked it and you are absolutely right, طنز is not an accurate translation for it. طنز actually means satire (Q128758) and I was not aware of its difference with comedy (Q40831) in literature. کمدی is the accurate translation for it. --Mehran (talk) 00:21, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
