Greetings, the changes made to VEON (Q1562826) are useless: you added a logo equal to the one already there, with the only difference that the one I entered also has the symbol (as on the site) and not only the written. SonoCOSTAN Talk 08:00, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
- What are you even talking about? The Veon logo.svg file is a new logo launched this spring. This is not a wordmark of the 2017 logo contained in the VEON logo.svg file. The new logotype uses a different typography. Its letters are now the same size, "E" and "N" are no longer compressed, their thickness has increased, in the letter "N" the "\" part that combines with "| |" is no longer flat, it has a certain bevel at the joints. The logo I entered is not similar to the 2017 logo. The logo I uploaded is not a wordmark of the 2017 logo which can be found at web.archive.org/web/20220514221027im_/veon.com/images/logo/Veon-logo-svg.svg. Currently, the 2017 logo is no longer in service, either on the website or in other media, as of early May of this year. The logo I uploaded started to be used at the end of June. Link to redirect
[edit]You no longer need to remove a redirect to link to wikidata. If you select the badge icon when linking a sitelink to a wikidata item and pick "intentional sitelink to redirect" then you can just normally link a sitelink to wikidata.
