- hot plate (Q509869): the kitchen version and the laboratory version should be split into separate items.
- street name controversy (Q99959001): the Commons cat needs a Belgium-specific item of its own and the wd item linked to a correct category.
- pinnoite (Q3905239): the Finnish pinnoite refers to something completely different and needs to be linked to a different item.
- psychosocial rehabilitation (Q2121838): should psychosocial and psychiatric rehabilitation be on the same item?
- tax revenue (Q385503): clearly refers to the general concept, except for the German wp article, which refers only to the situation in Germany.
- discharge (Q11900652): the Finnish article only refers to the legal concept within the Finnish legal system; the Swedish discusses both the general situation and the situation in Sweden.
- Candidate of Law (Q1771785): Pretty much every wp-article is about a different Nordic country. These should be split up and attached to a generic item.
- home invasion (Q3560381) and at least Q10520944 if not more. The latter has been merged into the former even though they are not the same concept. Not an easy unmerge since the latter item has also experienced multiple bad merges. The fi and sv on the latter (kotirauha and hemfrid) are a separate concept whereas the proper term for what is on Q10520944 would be fi: kotirauhan rikkominen and sv: hemfridsbrott (at least in Finnish Swedish).
- masonry oven (Q908601)/Q25424298: these either overlap or are the same thing.
- toy museum (Q2310465): the Russian alias refer to specific museums, not the general concept, but they do not seem to yet have items of their own that they could be moved to.
- city manager (Q696776): The Swedish article refers only to the Swedish situation and a new item should be created for it and it should be linked to this one. Haven't checked the other ones.
- open source (Q39162): the English one refers to a "philosophy", the other ones to a type of source code.
- monitoring station (Q1924376): unsure if monitoring station and observation station are the same thing or not.
- penile erection (Q133993): English is only referring to penile erection, other languages are also referring to non-penile erection.
- intimate relationship (Q736922): the Finnish is specifically referring to an intimate relationship with two partners in it. Many of the other labels do not limit the number of people in the relationship nor do they confine it solely to being a couple, which the Finnish one does.
- cardiopulmonary bypass (Q552304)/heart-lung machine (Q29513568): the first qid (the procedure) might still have things on it that belong on the second qid (the machinery).
- crystalline schist (Q15315)/schistose rock (Q9394813): the first qid looks to be the result of a lot of bad merges, many of which were done by an IP address user. Many of them probably belong on the second item. Addition: the talk page of the first qid also talks about this in a message that was added way back in 2018.
- geographic coordinates (Q104224919)/geographic coordinate system (Q22664): These are not the same thing, but most of the ones that belong on the first one are on the second one. This is a really large mess.
- sand sculpture (Q327561): combines sand sculptures and sand castles. Commons has separate categories for these as should we since the latter is a subtype of the first.
- Category:Military (Q5850187)/Category:Armed forces (Q6279121): the Finnish label (and by default the smn label too) on the first item is referring to defending your country, not the military. The second one is referring to armed forces/the military. Haven't looked closely at the other languages.
- renewable energy (Q12705)/renewable energy source (Q119080683): the first item may still have labels, descriptions, and wp links that should be moved to the second item.
- Category:Renewable energy (Q6544162): the Finnish category refers to the second item, most if not all of the rest to the first.
- energy technology (Q14554973)/energy technology (Q6140120): the first item claims to be about the branch of engineering from an academic pov, the second the broader subject. Many of the statements and identifiers are about the second though. Eswp article on the first is about the second, haven't check the others.
- wind power in the Netherlands (Q1896478): the Dutch wp article needs to have an item of its own.
- jury (Q1714036): the English and Swedish labels talk about a competition judged by a jury, the rest about the jury itself.
- Orientalism (Q42865): the Finnish article is a mishmash of all the different things orientalism means but is not an "official" disambig page. Needs to be in a separate item.
- Senior Ministerial Adviser (Q18677450): two separate concepts in the same article on fiwiki. Split and link.
- spinner's weasel (Q3409342): I'm not sure the Estonian and Norwegian articles are referring specifically to a spinner's weasel. I think they are referring to a more generic swift (Q138364) and with modifiers such as handheld to a niddy noddy (Q3173826).
Zoning hell
[edit]- General Urban Ordinance Plan (Q837215): the main item *everything* has been merged into
- Q16670365: referred only to the situation in France.
- Q520292519: referred only to the situation in Spain.
- Q20917309: a generic topic in Finnish on zoning
- related to this: maakuntakaava, yleiskaava, asemakaava, and kaavarunko
- The conceptual system mapped out for these concepts (in Finnish)
- the Swedish sämhallsplannering (yhdyskuntasuunnittelu in Finnish) does not belong on this item.
- It was originally at Q632908907.
- The Finnish yhdyskuntasuunnittelu on spatial planning (Q149013) is (likely) in the wrong place, but where should it go if it is?
- There's also land-use planning (Q60738778)
- zoning (Q702232): talks about both the process and the regulation. The Finnish asemakaava is on the wrong item. Not sure about the Estonian and Swedish.
- Q16276174: was a disambiguation page about the Bestemmingsplan in Belgium and the Netherlands. The item that only talks about the Netherlands is now included Q837215.
- Q52773827: the merge of the Polish article seems to be ok, but should be checked by someone who actually knows Polish.
Civil/political rights/liberties mess
[edit]- Category:Civil rights and liberties (Q7158699)/Category:Civil rights (Q9643344)/political rights (Q5803496)/civil rights (Q25447176), also this has no item: medborgerliga fri- och rättigheter
List of items to be re-tangled in the future:

Bridging the gender gap...
[edit]- Pierre and Marie Curie (Q11297474): The Russian and Ukrainian labels... Curie and his wife? Really?
- crown prince (Q207293): crown prince and princess in the same item, labels mainly refer to crown princes so the links to this item is bonkers for crown princesses. Neutral expression should be found for the label; splitting these into two items would be better.
